Management Team

Harald Horgen – President and CEO

HorgenHarald Horgen is an acknowledged expert in the field of helping technology companies expand into new markets, and with over 25 years of international experience he has learned what it takes to succeed in the global market. As the President and founder of The York Group, an international business development organization with offices and partners in more than 20 countries, Harald speaks from experience. He has been personally involved in setting up channels in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. He has worked with clients of all sizes, from small start-ups to industry giants such as Dell, Honeywell and Mitsubishi. His clients have come from more than a dozen countries, including the U.S., the UK, France, South Africa, Australia and India.

A native and citizen of Norway, Harald attended high school in London, Canada, business school in Oslo and graduate school in Arizona. Fluent in English, Norwegian and French, he lived in France for 14 years, and is now based in Bellevue, Washington.

Oystein Konsmo – CFO/COO

Mr. Konsmo’s background includes fifteen years of international management and entrepreneurial experience with US and European software and hi-tech companies. He has practical experience in strategic and financial planning, implementation of enterprise applications, marketing research, channel partner development and venture funding. Specific technology experience include telemetry, wireless data communication, smart cards, intelligent transportation, enterprise applications and video/data switching. Mr. Konsmo holds an MBA in Business Administration from Arizona State University and an undergraduate engineering degree from Oslo College of Engineering.

Steve Holstein – Vice President, Marketing

With more than 20 years of marketing and sales experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry , Steven Holstein has played a key role in the development of The York Group since 1998. Prior to joining The York Group he held director and vice president positions in a number of companies, and has had responsibilities for international and national sales channel development and management, franchising, vendor management, marketing, communications, business development and government relations. His career includes experience in working in a number of start-up technology and service ventures, including two that became publicly traded and one which grew to become a Fortune 500 company.

Mr. Triegaardt has a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town. He started his career with IBM in mainframe sales and systems. Tom Kuder is an entrepreneurial technology executive and an accomplished business developer with significant achievements in software, document composition, digital printing and electronic payments.
